As part of the lead-up to FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2025, Brno hosted a content day with four national teams: Belgium, Montenegro, Czechia, and Portugal.

I was there as FIBA’s official photographer, not just to document, but to observe — to translate moments into visuals that feel real.

Content days can feel rushed, sometimes repetitive — but within that, there’s always something genuine if you’re paying attention. I focused on the quiet details: the way someone adjusted their jersey, a flicker of focus before the flash, a smile that didn’t feel rehearsed.

Lighting, composition, timing — all tools to serve one purpose: to capture a piece of who these players are before they step onto the court. Not as icons. As people.
